Heartbeats and the beach.

What a wonderful time! Draven and I went down Wednesday after my doc appointment. We both got to hear the swooshing of the little baby's heart. Very exciting stuff. I started to cry, then it was all over. It all went by so fast. I am going to be prepared for my next appt with plenty of questions. Once we got out of the office we hit the road. Ended up in Galveston at 7pm that night. We got a bunch of groceries and a movie for the evening. Of course, Draven wanted to swim so we unpacked groceries and clothes and wen t for a quick dip. I was so exhausted from driving that I could barely keep my eyes open. We started our movie and fell fast to sleep! The next day we went to Draven's favorite Rain Forest Cafe. We ate some pizza and rode the water ride. After that headed out for some Ben and Jerry's. Walking on the beach with ice cream doesn't work so well. We picked up Chris that night and had a nice meal at a place called Casey's. All of this good food and I still could only take a bite or two then I felt sick. We did take a piece of chocolate cake to go and I had a bite the next day, it was incredible! Friday we did some shopping on the strand and more swimming. Saturday swam most of the day and went for a long walk and got very sunburnt! Sunday was our clean up day. We had to get on the road and head home. So sad. Got home about 9:30 Sunday night. It was a wonderful trip. The drive was not so great. Here are a few pics.
