Museum of Natural History...

*high picture content*

My sister has been very sick for weeks now. I don't know exactly what is going on yet. We do know she has mono. She is waiting on blood work results to come back to see if there is anything else making her so sick. When you are that sick all you need is sleep. You can't get better if you don't rest. Rest is hard to get when you have two kids in the house and on top of everything else she is preparing for the arrival of two more kids! You can read her blog for details.

I figured the only way she was going to get some sleep is if I took the kids out of the house for a while. We spent yesterday in Norman. Chris had court so we dropped him off then went to Coach's. After lunch we spent the afternoon at the Natural History Museum. I knew it was going to be cool, but it was awesome! They had a lot of hands on stuff for the little kids and the big kids learned a few things. After our field trip Chris made spaghetti. The kids loved it. After dinner they helped me clean up the house. Everyone was so good and helpful I decided to take them out for ice cream. I was worn out so I got the kids ready for bed. They watched Austin Powers (I don't think mom would approve of them watching it at home, but Aunt Bootsy said it was OK.) When I got up with morning they were all still asleep. Brooke and Kate our snuggling and Draven is asleep on the couch. Once they get up this morning, we are heading to the spray ground to go play. We are going to have as much fun as we can before sending them back home. Hopefully the rest my sister had yesterday will get her on the right path to recovery.
