24 HOURS...

And we will all know if I am having a Henry or a Henrietta.
I am so anxious!!!!!
I have noticed so many changes in my body this week. Much more movement. Not just the baby's movement, I think all of my organs are shifting around in there. I get sharp pains all day. Not anything to worry about. Just surprises me and goes away. Everything is growing rapidly, I guess.

BOY OR GIRL?

What is everyone's vote?
So far I have 4 votes for boy and 1 vote for girl.
I voted girl.
I find out friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What to do?

I know Shell and Jenn are the only ones who will post a comment, but I need everyone to give me input.
Here's the dilemma: I got my money from the insurance company. I planned on selling the jag and buying a new car. Now that I have my money on the way, I don't know if I want to spend it. I found a Jeep Cherokee that is a great deal. Low milage and cute. I could get it and pay for it for the next 3 years, blah- or pay off all car debt and Chris could go buy some piece of crap and pay cash. I would go back to driving the Volvo. I love the Volvo, just needs a little clean up. Would I be setting myself up buying a crappy car for Chris? Would it break down and we would be back to one car again. Can I afford a $350 month car payment? Do I hate debt? Yes! Chris told me to pray about it and the answer would come. Nothing yet. So I thought I would try blogging.

The Jeep would be easier on me and a baby. Having extra money would be easier on me and a baby. Did I mention I have to pay $200 every appointment so that the delivery will be paid for before the baby is even here. Crazy.
Maybe I should just call the bank and see what the monthly payment would be.
argh.

WEEK 16

Fetal development in pregnancy week 16:fetus in fourth month Over the past three weeks your astounding growing baby has managed to stretch yet another 2 full inches (totaling about 4.5 inches) and weighs around 3.5 ounces. Yessireee, that’s some pretty serious growth... and with it comes several physical developments! For starters, their head to body ratio is finally starting to even out a bit as the rest of the body is actually growing faster than the head at this point. Yes, your little light bulb is not so top-heavy. Their adorable little limbs have lengthened, almost reaching their normal proportions which they will have at birth. Their eyes are still closed but moving and if you had an ultrasound, which many doctors recommend you have at about this time, you may even see your little one sucking on a thumb, not to mention the necessary signifiers to let you know whether you’ve got a wee lad or lassie.

FRIDAY NIGHT BELLY PICTURE

Oops. I forgot I even took this picture.
DISCLAIMER: This picture was taken after a night at Iron Star. Belly may appear larger than actual size.

DRAVEN'S BIRTHDAY.

My little boy is 12.
I can't believe he is almost a teenager!
We successfully made it through another birthday without any major disasters.
We started the birthday with a trip to Iron Star. That is his favorite restaurant. They also have his favorite cake. Since they have opened, we have gone there every year for our free piece of $8 chocolate cake. I don't even like cake, this stuff is GOOD. Our friend Sarah was our waitress so that made it special too. Saturday was his actually birthday. That morning we had presents with nanna. She made him his favorite homemade pizza. Chris and I got him exactly what he asked for, Yoda's replica lightsaber! He also got a pair of Heely's or as I like to call them "broken arm shoes." For his actual party we started off at CiCi's pizza. Then headed to Pelican Bay Aquatic Center. It wasn't what I was expecting. Not bad, just not great. After that is when it got good. The boys all headed to Draven's friends dad's house for a sleep over. I got a free night. What is a pregnant woman going to do on a free Saturday night? Go to bed at 9pm! I slept 12 hours!

THURSDAY NIGHT BELLY PICTURE

I have my appetite back for sure!
We had a baked chicken last night with stuffing and broccoli. It was so yummy! I just can't stop thinking about food.
Draven even talked me into buying a cookie cake. Had that for dessert. I have a feeling I will be gaining more than 1/2 a pound next doc. visit! Feels good to feel good!
Oh, and got a rental car. It is an Impalla... HOLLA, HOLLA....

15 weeks

Your baby, 25 weeks to go.....

If you do not yet have a due date, your doctor can easily determine an accurate due date based on the measurement of your baby's head. This is done by an ultrasound examination. Your doctor will be discussing upcoming tests and procedures with you around this time that are able to diagnose or confirm birth defects and other abnormalities.

Your baby is growing at an amazing rate and looking more like a human every day. Because your baby's skin is so thin, you are able to see blood vessels through the skin. Lanugo hair covers your baby's body, but it will be gone when your baby is born. The hair on the eyebrows and head continues to grow. Some babies are born with little or no hair and others have a head full of hair! If you have an ultrasound at this point, you might be able to see your baby sucking its thumb. Even though the eyes continue to move to the front of the face, they are still widely separated. Your baby's ears look like normal ears and continue to develop externally. The bones that have already formed continue to get harder and retain calcium. The baby is very mobile and flexible at this point. She can bend her arms at the elbows and wrists and she can also make a fist with her hands.

Little Hen is now 6" long!

BABY HEN

I went to the doctor today and Little Hen seems to be doing just fine. The baby's heartbeat was 153 which is right in the normal range. He/She even gave Dr. Reisig a kick when she was looking for the heartbeat. I also set an appointment for my ultrasound. Woo-Hoo! At that time we will figure out an accurate due date and determine the sex (hopefully.) I had some more lab work done, this time for birth defects. For some reason I worry so much more about things then I did when I was pregnant with Draven. I guess I can blame it on age.
Looks like my nausea is almost gone! I have been eating better and even gained 1/2 a pound. Now I am just 1lb under my pre-pregnancy weight. I don't know if I will ever get my full appetite back. I notice that I only crave healthy food too. Nothing fried or heavy dairy, mostly fresh veggies and fruit. I do have a sweet tooth and can't turn down a dessert. I could even go for another milk shake right now! Chris got me baklava for my evening sweet tooth. That will work.

HEADING HOME

My last night in Austin wasn't bad, just exhausting! We worked so hard Monday that John and I decided to have room service and a movie. Two things I have never splurged on in a hotel room. I had the overpriced meatloaf and he had the overpriced hamburger. I lost playing Yahtzee, but the movie Blades of Glory was so darn funny! Chris is going to have to watch that with me.
I got home late last night. We left about 3:30 and got home around 10pm. It was a long day! We stopped in Waco and had a mediocre meal. The restaurant was right on the river and they gave you all you can eat hushpuppies to share with the fish, turtles and ducks. That was the highlight. I did finally get a milk shake that I had been craving! My boss had been listening to the Pulp Fiction soundtrack over and over again. Each time I heard the music I thought of the scene at Jack Rabbit Slims where they had the $5 milkshake. Yum! Made it home safely but as soon as we got in front of my house we blew a tire. It still sits there today, full of our show stuff.

MEGA CAMP

We had our first day of Keller Williams Mega Camp. It went pretty well, but very busy. Didn't take a huge amount of orders, but we did have a lot of positive feedback. So far it has been fun, except for the getting up at 6:30 in the freaking morning.

This sign was the hit of the show!

John and I found free Mexican food and loaded up! When Monte got down there they told him it was for realtors only. What a bunch of crap! My belly was happy and so was Cletus. Great tamales!

Picture of the guys designing signs. On the right is John with Z Best Team. They were a handful! They also wrote us a very complementary testimonial. The guy on the left is Monte with our first Caricature Sign, Chris Eckert.

SCRABBLE AND FOIE GRAS...

Last night after we checked into our rooms and got settled we headed for dinner. We had a fantastic meal. I had the tenderloin with Foie Gras, fried mashed taters and the prettiest veggie relish (kinda like a cold diced salad.) Oh, almost forgot! We finished it up with creme brulee and french pressed coffee. After that we headed to our rooms and got "comfy". We put on our lounge clothes and all ended up in our robes. We played scabble until about 11pm and then everyone got tired. I think it was just because I was winning. So far lots of fun. I am up at 6:30 in the morning, that is not too fun. Waiting on my coffee to brew and the tub to fill. Normally I wouldn't take a bath in a hotel, but this one is so nice! Here I go, time to wake up!
Monte worked hard on this face! We had about 12 shots before we got it just right.

SWEET, IN MY SUITE

We made it to Austin! It was a crazy drive, but we are here and unloaded. The both looks awesome considering it is a 10'x10' booth. It is the best out of all the sign companies (photos to follow.) After getting it all set up we are now in our rooms waiting on the boss man so we can eat dinner. After dinner we plan on playing a few board games in my suite. Pretty nice set up. Too bad I am not hear with my family to share it. I guess I brought part of the family. Cletus is here with me in Austin. So far she/he seems to like the city. Hasn't made me sick yet. Going home on Tuesday. I will try to keep everyone updated as I have time.
Boys at the mini bar.

View from my window.

I get the hideaway, not the best bed, but the best room!

This is so weird, like a dream. I am surrounded by realtors. Everywhere I look. They are so creepy.
