Don't pee-pee in your panties.

Whenever Lillie wears big girl panties I tell her "don't pee-pee in your panties". Now when she puts them on she says it to me, but in an angry voice with an angry face. She told me that's how I sound and look when I say it. Really?

Lil' Sis'...

Sorry, not a great picture. I don't have a scanner. This is just a photo of the photo.
Anyone have name input? I still like Olive. I don't know if Chris still does.

I can't believe I was wrong! I was sure it was a boy! Of course, Lillie and Papa knew all along. And Draven prayed he would stay the only grandson. Now my mother and father have 6 granddaughters! Wow! Two from each of their kids. So here's the details of my appointment.
*First of all, they didn't weigh me. Thank God. I haven't been eating well. I am hungry all the time and afraid I am going to gain too much weight. I have however started going back to the gym for 30 minutes of light cardio and a bit of weight lifting.
*My blood pressure was low. It was 102 over 60. I don't know if that is too low or just low. No one seemed concerned but I wonder if that could effect my energy level?
*Today was the BIG ultrasound. The tech started the ultrasound and right away said "Girl Parts". Chris and I responded with "check again" and "are you sure". I cried. I wanted another girl. I just think it will be easier since we already have all girl stuff. And I wanted Draven and Lillie to get their wish. They both wanted a girl. After the tech left I asked for the doctor to recheck and make sure it is a girl. He said "yep, girl". We said "maybe a girl". He said "nope, definitely a girl".
*They measured Lil' Sis' and she is approximately 6" crown to rump and 11" head to toe. She weighs 9 ounces.
*Doctor M checked blood flow from placenta and all looked healthy. For those of you that don't know my placenta was very small and in return I had a very small baby. I don't know if that is a result of the hypertension or vise versa.
*All and all a very good appointment.
*Appointment with Dr. H on November 8th (I think) and next appointment with Dr. M is on December 1st.

Fall Break...

We spent fall break weekend at my Dad's new house at Grand Lake. We didn't have much time to spend at our place but that worked out just fine. We didn't have any money to spend working on it this weekend. The weather was gray and rainy but it made for a perfect weather at the lake. We went for a couple of walks in the rain, played games, watched football and ate way too much.

Heres Papa's new house! It's kinda a fixer upper. Ok, I kid.

This is the walk to the swim platform/fishing dock. Brooke caught 4 fish!

Does it get any prettier? It was so hard to capture the beauty with a camera. After Saturday's rain we saw a rainbow in the orange/pink sky while the sun was setting. I thought about getting my camera but decided to just take mental pictures.
Walking in the pouring rain. No one seemed to mind.
We hurried home so we could go to our Neighborhood Halloween party. Lillie was very excited to wear her lady bug costume.

I don't think Draven and Jorge had fun. They ate and went home. At least I got a smile out of Jorge.
Lillie had fun eating candy and playing with friends.
I am so glad we had a bunch going on this weekend. I have been so excited for my next appointment that I need something to keep me busy. On Wednesday we find out if we are having a Lil' Dude or Lil' Chick.
Stay tuned...

Belly Pics...

I have had such a hard time with belly pictures this pregnancy. Last time was easy. I would set the camera in the same spot (Lillie's room) and set the timer. Perfect belly pic each time. I haven't found that perfect spot. I like the camera to only capture my belly, that way if I look like crap it doesn't matter. I haven't been posting pics because all of my pregnancy shots look bad. I either catch my flabby arms, chicken neck, or funny face in the frame. Don't want that. Just belly. Also, my belly is so much bigger this time. I don't want to look fat. I want to look "pregnant cute". Not happening this time. So I tried last night in various places to get the perfect shot. Wasn't going to happen. I did get shots that are postable. Just not great. At least I can share with the world the big ol' belly I am carrying around.

This was my first attempt. The camera goes off and I notice Lillie in the bathroom taking care of business. Nice.
This one was a little crooked but a decent shot.
This one makes my belly button look like it has a glowing red nose like Rudolph. I think it is part of the flash.

I was so small my last pregnancy. Here's a picture a month before Lillie was born. Apx 30-32 weeks.

Battle for Babies...

I haven't blogged about the last March of Dimes event because I was to preoccupied with it to blog about it. Also, I wanted people to be excited about the event and not hear all the boring (and stressful) planning. Now that it is done, I will show you the final product in pictures!

Working! Not just gossiping, I promise.
Stuffing the chocolate raffles in their pretty little boxes.

The restaurants were asked to create their own unique look for each table.
Check out the fish in the vases. There are big fish in the big vase and little ones in the little vases.
Blurry, but I promise it was very pretty!
The judges table!

Volunteers hard at it!

Our table ready for dinner!
Cute dancers! They came out dancing to Be Our Guest.
Dinner!
Our Chef for the evening...
Rusty was getting fed by two chefs. That makes for 8 courses! Luckily he shared. Mike is taking a bit.

Lil' Gymnast...

Saturday was Hazel's birthday Party at Oklahoma Gold Gym in Edmond. The party was so much fun! The kids played, ate cake, and played some more.
The kids seemed to all like the three person swing and the tunnels. Lillie was a bit more adventurous and enjoyed the rope wall and zip line.
She was so into the gym toys and fearless that the coach invited Lillie to join her Wednesday tumble class. Lillie has such a little body but a lot of upper body strength so she is perfect for gymnastics. Of course, Chris and I are already dreaming about gymnastic scholarships for college. We'll let you know how it goes on Wednesday after her first class.
