Summer!

And it is HOT!

I swear it doesn't get much hotter than Oklahoma in the Summer. Not sure what the temperature is going to be today but I do know it involves three digits. We are supposed to have record breaking temps all this week.

Yuck!

Lillie has her cousin (and BFF) over today and (hopefully) for a sleepover. We started the morning off with dress up and make up.

After a healthy lunch and LOTS of water they decided to hit the pool.

What? You didn't know we got a pool? Jay installed it this morning. The trick was filling it up. Our outside faucet broke last winter (yes we have very cold winters too!) and we have yet to fix it. I had to fill the pool one pot of water at a time. It took all morning.

Maybe a bit too chill. After a few minutes she fell asleep.
Now the girls are having a little quiet time so I can have a little quiet time. This afternoon I'm giving the girls mani pedis. It is flip flop season! Got to make sure those piggies look good!

Girls Week!

I got to spend some much needed time with my nieces this week. Here are a few (a lot) of photos to show you what we did.

We made a zombie movie at the mall. We saw Super 8 a few days before and loved the movie. We thought it might be fun to make our own movie just like the kids in Super 8.

Happy Thanksgiving!
Chris had some friends staying with us for the night. We thought with the extra family and friends at our house we needed to have a big meal. We decided on a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Zoe helped me with the table decor.

The last day they were in town Aaron and the girls got a hotel room in bricktown. Me and Lillie meet them up there Saturday night for some swimming. They have a great indoor pool. Since we spent all of our time in the water, I don't have any photos but I can guarantee we all had a great time.

Can't wait to spend more time with these girls!
