Lobster Baby...

Help! Our dinner is eating our baby!

Some friends of ours got Lillie her first Halloween costume. I think she might out grow it before Halloween so we wanted to get pictures while it still fits. She seems to like it. Or at least tolerate it. Pretty cute.

Goes who's back, back again...

You have to say the title post in the tune of the Eminem song.

Marla's back! Well she was back, now she is gone again. If I was to describe our time together it would sound pretty boring. It consisted of shopping and eating. To us, it was so much more! When we get together it is endless laughter and good times. I just crack up at all of the funny moments. Example: Draven telling Bubba Mike about going to Starbucks with Aunt Marla. Or Draven thinking Hand me Downs were called Handi Downs. Or the whole trip to Pops.

Yes, I know... These things are not funny to anyone else, but they were hilarious to us! I didn't take pictures of anything but Pops. Here are just a few of the many pictures we took that night.

TASTE FOR SIGHT

Chris and I got a chance to go out last Friday for a date night. Nanny came over to watch Lillie while we walked down to the History Center for a fundraiser. Chris had a friend with tickets he couldn't use because his wife was having a baby. The evening was filled with drinks and food. It was a short night, but fun none the less. We came back home and finished the evening with a movie with Nanny. She had never seen Little Miss Sunshine. I think she thought it was pretty funny. Here are a couple of pics from our date. We are so cute! I made Chris dress to match me.

Chris and Lillie slept in till 10 the next morning. He loves snuggling with that baby in the morning.

Yippie Yi Yo!

Whew! Another week gone. Last weekend I planned on being productive and getting a guest room ready for Marla. Instead we goofed off as usual. Friday we didn't do much at all. Saturday we went to the Yippie Yi Yo Show. It is a live kids show full of fun characters, music, and cartoons. The kids love it, but I think the parents love it even more. I don't know why these type of shows died out over the years. I hope this one stays around for a long time so Lillie can enjoy it as she grows up. We took lots of pics Saturday at the show.

Saturday night we had Auntie Lo and Uncle Al over for a cook out. We grilled out chicken and made southwest chicken sandwiches. They were pretty good. We had a great time. We had so much fun we are doing it again tonight and inviting more people to join us. Chris loves his grill. Tonight its brats with Lo, Al, Terri, Matt and Rusty. SHould be a great time. IT will be Matt and Terri's first time to meet Lillie.
Lillie and I got our hair done. As you can see we have the same "do."

Skunk shirt...

Last night we went to Chris' mother's house for dinner. Chris great aunt made dinner and it was delicious! She made pork roast, creamed asparagus, coleslaw, peas and carrots, mashed potatoes and rolls.
Lillie wore her t-shirt Aunt Sis got her. It says "Don't look at me, that smell is coming from my daddy." Yes, it is a bit tacky but cute. Chris and his sister play cards and when you lose, it is called "skunk." The loser has to wear the skunk hat. So, when Lillie goes with her daddy to play cards she is supposed to wear the shirt. Pretty funny, huh?

I thought she looked so cute last night I took a ton of pictures.
